CompactHabit construeix l'edifici modular més alt d'Espanya

At CompactHabit, we continue to innovate in the construction sector with our industrialized construction system. An example is the public housing building we have built on Marroc Street in Barcelona, the tallest modular construction in Spain. Promoted by the Barcelona City Council, this building features a ground floor plus eight stories and provides 45 social housing units.

To make this possible, we used 104 three-dimensional concrete modules, fully manufactured and equipped in our factory before being transported to Barcelona. This system allowed us to complete the project in 11 months and 1 week, significantly reducing construction time compared to traditional methods.

This project also stands out for its low environmental impact. Modular construction minimizes waste generation and reduces CO₂ emissions associated with the construction process, contributing to a more sustainable model.

The Marroc Street building is a clear example of how industrialized construction addresses today’s housing challenges. A model that combines speed, efficiency, and sustainability, offering innovative solutions for a more responsible and efficient urban development. This project was carried out with UTE with Constructora d’Aro and Constructora del Cardoner.

At CompactHabit, we remain committed to innovation in construction through our modular building system, convinced that it represents the future of the industry. Each new project reaffirms our path towards more efficient, responsible, and adaptable construction solutions.
